Are forklifts typically heavier than cars? I’ve always wondered because they seem so compact but feel super sturdy. Anyone know?

Yep, forklifts are definitely heavier than most cars! A lot of their weight is in the rear to counterbalance heavy loads. Ever seen how much a fully loaded forklift can lift compared to its own weight?

Yeah, forklifts are surprisingly heavy for their size! That counterweight in the back adds a ton of mass to keep them stable when lifting. Even a smaller forklift can outweigh a regular car pretty easily.

Yeah, forklifts might look small, but they’re built like tanks! That counterweight in the back makes a huge difference. @Butch232, were you just curious, or are you looking into operating one?

Yeah, forklifts might be compact, but that extra weight really makes a difference in how they handle! Ever tried driving one on a sloped surface? The way the weight shifts can be pretty tricky to get used to!

Yep, forklifts are way heavier than they look! That counterweight in the back does a lot of the work, keeping them balanced when lifting. Definitely feels different from driving a car, especially if you ever have to stop fast or go up a slope!

Yeah, forklifts are surprisingly heavy! The counterweight in the back really adds to their mass, which helps with stability when lifting. They definitely feel a lot more solid compared to driving a regular car.
