Hey everyone, I’ve been wondering if a telehandler can effectively replace a crane or forklift for certain tasks. Are there specific situations where a telehandler would be a good alternative, or is it better to stick with cranes and forklifts for certain jobs? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this!

Yep, telehandlers are super versatile coz they can handle lifting, loading, and even light rigging if fitted with the right attachments. But when it comes to extreme height or heavy vertical loads, cranes still win, and forklifts are better for tight, flat indoor spaces.

I totally agree with @John Calvin Lewis. Telehandlers are definitely versatile and can cover a lot of ground, especially with the right attachments. But like you said, for really heavy lifting or tight spaces, cranes and forklifts still have their place. It really depends on the job you’re doing. Anyone here use a telehandler in a way that surprised them with its capabilities?
