I’ve always been curious about the massive dump trucks used in mining operations. How big are mining dump trucks, and what are the largest models out there? What are their typical dimensions, weight capacities, and engine power?

Also, how do these trucks compare to regular construction dump trucks in terms of size and performance? Would love to hear from anyone with experience working with these beasts!

Hey @Top_tow_Leo, Mining dump trucks are absolute giants! Some of the biggest, like the BelAZ 75710, can carry up to 450 tons and are over 26 feet tall. They make regular construction dump trucks look tiny in comparison. Most of them have engines with thousands of horsepower to haul those massive loads. Have you seen one in person, or just curious about their size?
