Hey folks,

Just curious about how often you all service your generators to keep them running strong? I’ve heard everything from every 100 hours to once a year, depending on usage. What’s your go-to maintenance schedule, and do you follow the manual or go by experience?

Hey Hugh, I usually go with the 100-hour rule for regular use, but I’ve found it’s also a good idea to check oil levels and filters every few months, even if you’re not hitting that mark. It can make a big difference in performance, especially during heavy use!

Totally agree!100 hours is a solid baseline, but I also keep an eye on run time and load conditions. If it's running in dusty or hot environments, I’ll usually swap filters and check fluids more often just to be safe. Better to over-maintain than deal with downtime later!

Hey folks, I try to stick to the 100-hour rule too, but has anyone noticed a big difference in performance based on brand or model? Curious if some generators need more TLC than others.
