Hey everyone!

When selecting a telehandler for your construction site, what key factors should you consider to ensure optimal performance and safety? Are there specific telehandler models that stand out for their versatility and lifting capacity for heavy-duty tasks? How important are features like all-terrain capabilities and ease of maneuverability in tight spaces? Also, what brands or types of telehandlers are most trusted in the industry for durability and long-term value? I’d love to hear your insights and recommendations on choosing the best telehandler for a range of construction projects.

Great question! When picking a telehandler, definitely consider factors like lifting height, load capacity, and maneuverability, especially for tight spaces or uneven terrain. Models with all-terrain capabilities can be a lifesaver, but don’t forget about ease of maintenance and brand reputation—JCB and Manitou are usually top choices for their reliability and performance. Anyone had great success with a specific model?

Totally agree with you guys, terrain and tight space handling are huge. We've had good luck with a SkyTrak model lately; solid lifting power and it handles rough ground better than I expected. Curious if anyone’s used the newer electric telehandlers—are they holding up on bigger jobs?

We’ve been using a Genie GTH-1056 and it’s been a beast with great reach and super stable even on uneven ground. Maneuverability and lift capacity were the deal breakers for us. Anyone tried rotating telehandlers? I’m thinking of testing one on a tight site next month.
