Hey everyone,

I’m looking to level up in my construction career this year and wanted to ask about what are the best certifications worth getting right now? I’ve heard about things like OSHA 30, PMP, and LEED, but I’m not sure which ones really stand out to employers in 2025. I’d love to know what’s actually helped you land better jobs, promotions, or higher pay. Are there any underrated certifications people overlook but make a big impact? Appreciate any advice or personal experience you can share!

Hey, OSHA 30 is a solid start, but I’d definitely look into PMP if you're eyeing management roles. It really opens doors and shows you’re serious about leading projects. Also, don't sleep on heavy equipment or trade-specific certs coz they can boost your value fast on site.

Definitely agree with OSHA 30 and PMP.
Both are huge boosts. I’d also add LEED or NCCER if you're into sustainability or skilled trades!

Great picks already mentioned! OSHA 30 helped me get taken more seriously early on, and PMP definitely gave me an edge when I moved into project management. I’d also throw in NCCER if you're hands-on in the field. It really depends on where you want to go, but having a mix of safety, leadership, and trade-specific certs makes a big difference.
