Can anyone clarify which subpart the signals for cranes and derricks in construction are found under in the regulations?

Hi Ernie, you’re probably looking for Subpart CC in the OSHA regs. That’s where all the crane and derrick signal requirements are covered. Hope that helps!

Good call, Harold! Subpart CC covers a lot, including hand signals, voice signals, and qualifications for signal persons. @Ernie, are you looking for something specific, like signal chart details or training requirements?

Yep, Subpart CC is the one! Covers all the signal requirements for cranes and derricks, including hand and voice signals. @Ernie, are you looking for general info or something more specific, like certification requirements for signal persons?

Sounds like Subpart CC is the way to go! Definitely worth checking out if you’re dealing with crane signaling on-site. Are you looking for general guidelines or something more detailed?

Yep, Subpart CC is the right spot! Covers everything from hand signals to signal person qualifications. Definitely worth a deep dive if you’re working around cranes regularly. Are you needing this for training or just a refresher?

Subpart CC is definitely the go-to, super important if you're around cranes a lot. I found the illustrations in the appendix pretty handy too when training new guys. @Ernie, are you pulling this info for a site audit or putting together a safety briefing?
