Which brands offer the best scrapers in the market and what should you look for when buying one?

Lookin’ for a new scraper—how do Cat, Deere, and Komatsu stack up? I'm all about power, durability, and easy-to-find parts. Had good luck with Cats but hear great things about Deere and Terex too. What do y’all value most when buyin' a scraper? Which brands do you trust?

If you like em and have the budget, stick with CAT. Can't go wrong there. Second choice I'd say Deere. But those would be my top two, in order.

Komatsu's decent, but in my book, they're playin' catch-up to Cat and Deere. Terex used to make good scrapers, but they sold that part of their business (to Volvo maybe) a while back.

Yeah, I’d have to agree, Cat and Deere are the safest bets. Cat’s got that rock-solid build, and parts are everywhere. Deere’s solid too, and I’ve heard their newer models are real smooth operators. Komatsu’s not bad, but I feel like resale value and parts availability aren’t quite as good. Anyone runnin’ anything besides the big names with good results?

I’ve mostly run Cat and Deere too, it's hard to beat 'em for reliability and resale. I did demo a Bell scraper once and was surprised how smooth it ran, but parts weren’t as easy to come by. Still, curious if anyone's had long-term luck with the lesser-known brands?
